Overview
Tapal Mezban wanted to convert campaign awareness into measurable customer participation for its "Jashan-e-Jamalo" lucky draw. Convex Interactive combined the wide reach of robocalls with WhatsApp Business API automation to create a simple journey from awareness to WhatsApp engagement, data collection, and lucky draw entry.
Problem
Tapal Mezban needed to build mass awareness of Jashan-e-Jamalo, convert that awareness into actual participation, and build a structured customer database with details such as mobile number, name, city, CNIC, and address. The key challenge was bridging the gap between awareness and measurable, digital customer participation.
Solution
We built a two-step journey using automated robocalls to introduce customers to Jashan-e-Jamalo and direct them to WhatsApp, where a WhatsApp Business API flow collected their mobile number, name, city, CNIC, and address, registering them for the lucky draw.
Process
We designed a connected flow: Tapal Mezban → robocall → customer awareness → WhatsApp → data collection → validation → lucky draw entry. We first reached customers via automated robocalls introducing the Jashan-e-Jamalo campaign and directing them to WhatsApp as the primary participation channel.
Once on WhatsApp, customers followed an automated flow that collected their mobile number, name, city, CNIC, and address. The system then validated and captured the information, making customers eligible for the campaign's lucky draw.
Result
The campaign transformed a broad awareness activity into a measurable digital engagement journey, with robocalls driving direct communication and WhatsApp serving as a familiar, convenient platform for participation.
Tapal Mezban captured valuable structured customer data, including name, mobile number, city, CNIC, and address, while reducing reliance on manual registration for the lucky draw.
