The Pakistan Influencer Awards celebrates the creators, storytellers, and communities who inspire, entertain, and drive impact. To let audiences vote for their favorite influencers, the country’s first awards platform needed a reliable online voting platform that could support public participation while managing multiple stages of the awards process.

To bring this experience to life, the organizers partnered with Convex Interactive, a leading digital and IT solutions provider, to develop a dedicated web-based voting application that connects voters, nominees, and organizers through one structured, reliable voting process.

A user-friendly digital voting platform that brings award categories, nominee profiles, vote submissions, and confirmations together in one connected experience, integrating public participation and behind-the-scenes awards management into a single system.

Voters visit the voting portal, browse award categories, open a specific category, and view nominee profiles, names, and details. They then select their preferred nominee, confirm and submit their vote, and land on a confirmation screen that confirms their vote was recorded.

To keep voting fair, voters enter their name and phone number, then verify their information with a one-time SMS code before voting. A final confirmation step reminds them that they can’t change a submitted vote.

Behind the scenes, a rule-based validation system checks every submission. If the vote is valid, we securely save it to the database and mark it as successful. If it violates the rules or contains invalid data, it is rejected, and the voter sees a clear error message explaining the reason.

To simplify awards management, we built a centralized admin dashboard that lets organizers manage categories, nominees, juries, shortlists, settings, and audit logs in one place. The dashboard supports multiple stages of the awards process, including Creator Jury (Top 10), Executive Jury (Top 5), and Public Voting Finalists, and accommodates nominee withdrawals.

By bringing these functions together, we gave organizers a more structured way to coordinate jury evaluations, manage voting stages, and maintain visibility into administrative actions without relying on disconnected processes.

By combining web development, SMS-based verification, rule-based vote validation, and centralized awards management, Convex Interactive delivered more than a conventional voting website.
